Sport Sessions for October

For month of October, I was involved in 2 badminton sessions.

On 05-10-2009, I played with Henrick, Jay, Kenneth and Yong Quan at Permata.

On 26-10-2009, I played with Henrick, Jay, Jimmy, Kenneth, Ly Ning and Yong Quan at Permata.

Countdown to China Trip - Cont 1

It's exactly 30 days away, and I will be heading to LongYan and XiaMen.

As most of you know, it's a family trip, so my family members and other relatives will be tagging along.

As I know so far, there will be 16 headcounts in total, thus it will be a large group among us.

Still the same, the actual itinerary is still yet to be confirmed, thus I do not have further update on this at the moment.

EAI Team - Part 2

In past 2 weeks, my team mates and I were working on normal shift instead of rotation shift, due to attending knowledge transfer sessions by Marcel, Girish, Jian Ping and Ying Loong who visited SRC.

2 weeks past, Marcel is going back to Scotland, Girish is going back to India, while Jian Ping and Ying Loong are going back to Singapore.

As usual, it's photo session with the team, a family photo of EAI Team (SIB Support Team and SIB Development Team).



For SIB Support, it's another chance to gather 6 of us together. After next week, it's impossible to do so as we will be working on rotation shift again.

Seagate EAI Team Building 2009

It was a team building event organised for my team, where we were playing bowling at Penang Bowl.

Well, in total there's 14 headcounts in total, and we were separated into 4 teams.

~ Team A: Marcel, Anandkumar ("TIBCO"), ME ("ROONEY"), Benedict ~



~ Team B: Beng Hai, Jason ("FIFA"), Girish ~



~ Team C: Saravanaraj ("BLUEBERRY"), Kok Hong ("HONG KONG"), Alan, Jian Ping ~



~ Team D: Jeremy ("INIT 5"), Ying Loong, Min ~



As per arrangement, we were playing 2 games in total.

My Birthday

It was my birthday 3 days agon on 13-10-2009, and it's the first time my dear celebrated with me.

For my birthday present, my dear bought a set of Gundams plus some special made lucky stars for me, let's have a look.





Besides birthday present, my dear treated me a dinner at Chili's Grill and Bar, Gurney Plaza.



First of all, we ordered "Southwestern Eggrolls".



Besides, we ordered "Chicken Crispers" as well.



It had been a sweet and meaningful birthday celebration for me, thanks a lot, my dear.

Penang Island Trip

It was last Saturday, when Beng Hai and I accompanied Girish and Ajesh for Penang Island 1 day trip.

Initially Marcel will be tagging along, unfortunately he was feeling unwell.

~ Kek Lok Si ~
At around 10.00 am, we made a visit to Kek Lok Si.









~ Air Itam Dam ~
Next on the agenda, we made a visit to Air Itam Dam which is located 5 minutes away from Kek Lok Si. Air Itam Dam is the first dam built in Penang, which is opened back in 1962.









~ Lunch ~
After visiting Kek Lok Si and Air Itam Dam, we were heading to Passions od Kerala which is located at New World Park for lunch.













~ Sleeping Buddha ~
After lunch, we were heading to Sleeping Buddha which is located in Pulau Tikus.







~ Burmese Temple ~
Next on the agenda, we visited Burmese Temple which is just opposite Sleeping Buddha.







~ Youth Park ~
Last agenda of the day, we made a visit to Youth Park. Both Girish and Ajesh enjoyed themselves very much with the lush greenery of the environment.
